You keep me in the dark
With your feelings locked up inside
But even though you try to hide them
I see your sadness through all your lies
You always put up your walls
To protect everyone else
You remain quiet with a smile
Like everything's alright
I want to let you know
That I still have a promise to keep
To be there for you forever, and always
