My mowing eyes, like an electric shaver
Whirr down the stubbled page of print.
Later, much later,
I screw off the top
And tap out the fine print,
Tap it all out.

Sir Karl Popper was a thinker I admired for his clear exposition of ideas for our times. His lectures on BBC in early 1971 prompted me to write this reaction.
