Reading Life Poem by Missy Lynn

Reading Life

Rating: 5.0

Moments of time are frozen to me
Cold like ice are
The memories of the early days
Love so warm
Tender happiness in spite of all
But disappearing
In the open realms of growing
Death and devastation
And the horrors of the evil world turned
Icy through life
I tread my former self to the gallows
Never to look back
But now I see through clear eyes
What once was hazy
And in living and remembrance
Have become warm
Like a gentle summer day
