Real Eyes Poem by tHeNameLeSs23drea Andrea Rivera

Real Eyes

I didn’t want to realize
That all you did told were real lies
That you never spoke with actuality
Honesty: that’s how it should be
But it wasn’t
Now was it?
Now how am I to know when the truth is told?
No matter what you say, it still sounds so cold
You say without thinking so its so mean so sick
When you see what you’ve done you try to take it back quick
But you cant, like you said there’s no “reverse”
But with so many things said already, what can be worse?
that’s right, nothing, you’ve said it all
From beginning to end, between insane and insecure that’s where I fall
