Reason 2 My Rhyme Poem by Rayno Elroy Davids

Reason 2 My Rhyme

As tears trickles from the sky of my mind's eye,
to disolve salted lips and quench my soul's thirst-
my tongue gave birth to the first unspoken word;

Life-
four letters with a profound meaning and endless conotations,
standing in relation to love and hate:
seperated by the amalgamation of pain-
this relationship is as strange as day and night.
As divided as those hours which they share are,
they still share the same sky in total awe and amazement.
The villain takes his stance,
at first glance he seems innocent!
Absent of compassion-
the gift of goodwill lacking
and his speech ambivalent,
has the backing of man made
laws
with so many loop and potholes
that freedom got caught and lost in the realm of audible silence.
While violence prevails women cry and children die leaving u an i on the corner question WHY?

But

while the finger gets pointed in every direction
our own reflections gets neglected.
How objective are our points of view when they so obscure and one dimensional?
The more of the world i see and meet the less i wana be a part of it

THATS CRIMINAL!
The message remains subliminal,
coz
knowledge of self suffers!
At the absence of the Most High's omnipresence.
