Why do I dance.
To the music I detest.
And walking like in trance.
While something's beating in my chest.

Is it too hard to understand.
Why you are in my mind.
Will I reach a promised land.
And what is there to find.

Can I taste forbidden pleasures.
Or am I not allowed.
To find the secret treasure.
Or to rest there with a doubt.

Or am I just too damaged.
From everything I do.
Is it so hard to manage.
To find my peace in you.
