Reconfiguration Poem by Pierre Rausch

Reconfiguration

This is your shot of saving the marriage
You poor thing come on, we're going to South America
You ain't gonna miss the whole trip
I can't speak Spanish very good
Enchanting piano before the journey

But I'm sure you'll keep trying
Visions of your sole sister
A touch at a safe distance
That's what you implied over the phone
Excuse the soapbox, excuse odds at millions to one
In the middle of that unique group
But I'm interested in the present
The money of lottery winners

This is your shot of saving the marriage
You poor thing come on, we're going to South America
You ain't gonna miss the whole trip
I can't speak Spanish very good
Enchanting piano before the journey

Rubbed the sleep from your eyes and stared over to me
A highly regarded public hospice
Knocked at the facade of the house
Your loyalty sharply divided
Somewhat familiar with the file
Couldn't exactly put up roadblocks
Typing the information into your computer
And then stole a side-way glance into

This is your shot of saving the marriage
You poor thing come on, we're going to South America
You ain't gonna miss the whole trip
I can't speak Spanish very good
Enchanting piano before the journey
