Recording Sessions* Poem by Neil Young

Recording Sessions*

i. Take 1

Microphone levels
Set, the recorder started
Captures the next hour's
Fragments of organ music;
Jigsaws soon re-joined, faultless.

ii. Take 57

Guy Weitz plays Widor;
Westminster 1920's.
Wax is warmed, ready
To record between clock strikes,
Footsteps, disapproving Priests.

I like short poems like this...like a quick shot of imagery to swallow when you're in a rush. Good write (and I know all about Take 57's) . :)
