Recovery Poem by Allison Wilkinson

Recovery

Rating: 5.0

I'm buried beneath the ever shifting sand
So please come drag me out with your calloused hands

Calm me to the soul crushing waves
Guide me to the chance of being saved

If you let me drown
I might land on solid ground
A place so silently found
Dear God, don't make a sound
Just guide me down, down, down

Ocean decompose me for the poets

Ocean compose me and let my soul in
