I didn't know what to do when the android fell into the river
he wasn't programmed for such eventualities.. neither was I,
he quickly became cold flowing water in much the same way
as I became a cold flowing stillness, would he rust? would he
short out? would I? what was the protocol for pulling electric
people out of water? it was all very Tuesday, like empty plates
seeing plates full of food, oh the rings left in display cases, but
soon becoming Friday, river boulders finally stopped laughing

Comment from PoetrySoup 'another fun and delightful read, Clive. Yep, in today's world we don't always know how to handle those 'eventualities. I loved the imagery...it was all very Tuesday...the rings left in display cases. Nicely done.'
