Red Poem by Laura .

Red

It was December
when it burned edges.

They say,
an intense flame
retire with scars.

Nevertheless,
got lost with no trace to behold.
And you would say it never sufficed.

As the ice thawed with caress,
it recast into the same
flame that engulfed.
