Red Converse Poem by Michael Moorcroft

Red Converse

They were bright red,
But two sizes too small,
A gift from a friend,
That my Father now has.

Found the other day,
And I made them fit,
My toes were crippled,
My heels crushed.

But hey they looked good,
They were bright red.
