You lived your life long,
now the time is gone.
I wish you were here,
so I wouldn’t die alone with fear.
Every night I dream you are near.
Stay with me every night, my dear.
My love for you will never fade.
In my mind I’ll see your eyes of jade.
I will be with you soon
in the light of the moon.
The days are growing shorter.
My love for you is growing stronger.
Soon death will come my way
when the red rose turns gray.
