Red Soldier Poem by Luann Soares Aranha

Red Soldier

Rating: 5.0

Broken diamonds
Lost pearls
Rotted gold
Since you've gone
That's how you left my soul
The treasure is slowly loosing it's colours
As memories are completely erased
I've tried to sell it
But no one seems to want it
Because they know it still belongs to you
And now matter how much memory dies
The magic left is fighting
To keep it alive
But I just don't understand why
It still insists
On reminding it self about
Well...
Not the moments it had
But the love it shared
...With you
It's not easy you know
I just wish that
you would take of your shoes
And just stop running through it's mind
Maybe like that
It will forget about you
It will be prepared to stand up
Salute
And march on with the troops
Find a new owner
That will be able to bring back
The treasures true colour.
