Red Tail Hawks Poem by John Myshkoff

Red Tail Hawks

Beautifully executed chandelle
I thought,
They practice of course,
Or do they?
Did the young pair
Know their Immelmanns
Were perfectly synchronized?
Can they do Cuban Eights?
Perhaps not...I wonder.
Some other creature
Has got their attention
And interrupted the routine.
Their Split-S will have to wait
Until tomorrow.
