Redemption Poem by Olamide Taiwo

Redemption

Rating: 4.0

Fast fall the eventides, swift ebbs flow of hell's glows
Hapless snail wadling a puddle of fettered shells
Along crystal fountain of salvations
Plowing in rumbling pangs of ignorance

Roamed I, I roamed, yet faltered; upon
The Halley of faiths; I roamed
My skin and soul are the vllage of sins where doth flows
Stream of death and eternal groans
My lips and tongues are cistern
Of wrath and lies and deceit
Yet sprouts songs of kingdome above

I roamed, I roamed, I faltered
From Adam's dust span of fiery dearth's-life birthed
From Eve many bellies conceived children of spells
Mere shadows of hapless bones

I roamed, I roamed, I groaned in twilight throts
I tread the Canaan's paths of Joseph
Yet faltered like foggy leafs
By carnage rheus of Delilah's gospel

I was David with verve pianos'
Girdling convergence of elsyian's solos
Wafting lyrics of eternal gospel
Amisdt bother Esau and Iscariot
Yet, I roamed and faltered amidst
Assembly of lostful wine-fleshes

O! Saviour! Open now;
Thy crystal fountains, whence;
Breeze of healings and salvations flow.
Lead me all journey through
The cloudy Niles by the pillar of light
And my hearts should you abode a shield of revelations of the glories 'bove

O! Elohin, upon thy dost i bid my anxious fears subside
Pilgrim through earths of iniquities,
Enfeebled mind dost call thy name 'Most high'
Breath thy breath of redemptions
Into my nostrils, that I shall tread no more
The verge of fading earthly glories

The poem is about Christian's life. Subverting the Grace of God with earthly pleasure. Yet, preaching the gospel of the kingdom above while one's lips are roses of deceit and our skins, Temple of fornication.
