Redemption Poem by nathaniel watkins

Redemption

I have destroyed planets
in your name.
Commited acts of atrocity
without shame.
Forsaken love to stand by
your side.
Even gone to war with you
out of loality if not pride.
Called you master
when the mighty bow to me.
Because your ultimate plan
i could not see.
When we fell from grace
i cursed his name.
Seeking vengence against him
when you were to blame.
He has open my eyes
my heart as well.
I will no longer do your bidding
i will not return to hell.
He has cleansed my soul,
so this i vow.
To once again soar with
the angels.
For it is only to him
i bow.
