Redemption Poem by sagnik.ganguly ganguly

Redemption

Trapped in the dark walls of the dungeon that hold me inside
The web of lies and deceit intricately woven in the tapestry of life
Fettered with chains of mortar, bricks and rivet of iron
With the eternal struggle and quest of liberation
Seeking redemption
Trying to reach out to the blue firmament, the outstretched horizon
I am the traveller who seemed to have lost the way
The long winding road to the destination seems like light years away
Entangled and repressed emotions, contrived perceptions
Seeking redemption
The wounded soul has sunk into the infinite abyss
My inner conscience in utter turmoil and crisis
The obliteration of my moral degradation
Seeking redemption
