Reflection - Poem by tony counsell

In the middle of battle
A warriors true self is shown
Which shows why people are so little
All emotions are thrown

Hatred is a vile thing
It can only bring pain
Few people know what peace will bring
And how it stops the pouring rain

After sadness comes depression
Always causing yourself harm
Happiness shows you compassion
Leaving you tranquil and calm

Poet's Notes about The Poem

the story about this shows how someone finally showed me some compassion and changed me for good

Quite funny is the isthmus of culture linking our impressions. To us Rains are hot tears, tears of Devine lust falling for the eternal woman whom you lusted for before you were born, but destined for. I loved your construct unique and different for the word rains. (Report) Reply
