Reflection... - Poem by Jhanus Thanatos

I fell in love,
with my reflection today,
I saw a dove,
Fly past my walkway,

You're like me,
I'm like you,
Can't you see,
It's not a breakthrough,

Born to the grave,
Raised from hell,
To us, we are slaves,
Having to dwell,

To err is human,
To us its dumb,
We drink our bourbon,
Just to feel numb,

Our sufferings been great,
Our wrists should be slit,
But to us its no weight,
To us its not unfit,

Will it be,
Or will it fail,
Our hands are bloody,
The bloods in a trail,

Can you love me,
Should I love you,
Or should we just bury,
ourselves in virtue.
