Reflection Poem by Silence Dogood

Reflection

Rating: 5.0

I look in the mirror and the face that I see.
Is not the reflection that I want it to be.
The girl that stares back at me.
Isnt beautiful cute or pretty.

Guys dont like her and she cant get a date.
This is her destiny her undeniable fate.
I see her eyes as they fill with tears.
Her shaking shoulders heave with her fears.

She covers her face with her hands and sobs in silence.
The names they call her what verbal violence.
I wish I could heal her broken heart.
But I wouldnt know where to start.

Cause this poor crying girl.
With the broken heart and crumpled world.
Looks at me with tear stained eyes.
As she slowly dies inside.

She tries to talk and whispers my name.
I know her reason and feel her pain.
Cause this poor girl who speaks silently.
Is just another refection of me.
