Reflection On The Mirror, Dedicated To My Secret Love Poem by Okan Emanet

Reflection On The Mirror, Dedicated To My Secret Love

What do you expect from me?
the trace of shine or the name of beauty
where will you find the same blind one
or do you think you will have him done
don’t you know how you stare at me
reflect upon your sight in the way
the mirror displays your facial say
and look at my eyes and my lines
riding through my eyebrows and frowns
what do they mean to say
the desire you demand from me
because I’m your reflection on the mirror
caress my soul and see as a whole
what you really mean to me
touch my weeping and screaming and see
what you actually mean to express
Die again, but stand on foot as before

Maybe on the day of the moon
Or Monday, you come next to me soon
Maybe, when the lonely heart becomes two
Or On Tuesday, you walk and look through
Maybe on the ceremony of the wedded hearts
Or on Wednesday, you will get married to me
Maybe at the time when you become thirsty,
Or on Thursday, you will drink the syrup of harmony
Maybe the moment you want to be free
Or on Friday, you miss me and then flee
Maybe on the Saturn’s getting close to lonely hearts
Or on Saturday, you come to get intimate
Maybe, while I am lying under the sun,
Or on Sunday, you find me longing for the birth of my son

You love me again maybe
Look and see;
Because I am your reflection on the mirror
