Reflections Of Our Birth Poem by Torry Young

Reflections Of Our Birth

Inimitable and worthy
Chiseled to be mine
Falling flawlessly into
The hollow of my throat

An emblem of my commencement
My contributions
My impending ambitions

Mirroring the adversity
Thrust upon us all
They embody our birth

Overlooked and forgotten
Mine a soft amethyst
Fashioned to a chained heart

Our Nativity Stones
