kept burning chaste cheerful pro bono

sinewy physique, muscularly lean

doubling up as Jack Frost
i.e. old man winter based

forecasters, who possess
sixth sense insight
predicting harsh winter, yeah right
as if standing atop shoulders of giants
towering, rivaling, overshadowing...
