Refugee Song Poem by Chanaka cool

Refugee Song

I crossed this blue seas to catch some luck
All in the boat are here to find some bucks
I got nothing excpet this packet of goldleaf
Please dont lock me in a cell sir, i am not a thief

The sea was so rough I thought we would die
There wwere 50 in this little boatm i heard little children cry
Suddenly saw an army boat and knew we were in the zone
I knew i can start my life again so i threw my cell phone

Now I need a job and a place to live to settle down
Sir I can do anything, I can even be a clown
I know there are many big people who come here in planes
I wanna see new things i heard there are electric trains

Now that I am here, gonna send a letter to my mother
I thought there would be snow, oh god but it got even hotter
I know I am glad I prayed before we sailed
Thanks god, it helped or I would have been inside a whale
