Regainer Of My Lost Paradise Poem by Michael Adeosun

Regainer Of My Lost Paradise

Through the deserts
Through the swamp
From Cairo
to the Cape
have I sojourned.
A sea of faces
have I seen.
Not in this multitude
have I seen eyes
that outshine
the sun.
This radiance, a conviction..
A conviction
that I have found heaven.
This smile.
A mark of dawn, an illumine....
From this doldrums
I rise.
On her wings
to the clouds.
No better way to fly.
An angel she is.
My angel.
Regainer of
my lost paradise.
