Regret's Love Poem by David Castaneto

Regret's Love

Rating: 4.0

I understand that you're irritated and infuriated

Like a burning red kettle about to burst out screamin',

Didn't know a gag like a that would make you frustrated,

But just give me this moment to try and stop those bitter sweet tears from spillin',

I'm sorry for the things I said you, Everything I try just won't do,

'Cause now you're neglectin' me, Those hazelnut eyes won't look straight,

It feels like a knife through my heart, Because I love you and you have no clue,

It kills me to see you cuddlin' sickening guys right in my eyes, Just great,

Sat up one icy cold night cryin', Reminiscing on our memories together, what wonderful times I suppose,

Though I'll leave it be if it turns your fragile faded smile strong as an ox and red as a rose.
