Reincarnation Poem by Tina Rizk

Reincarnation

With each lifetime,
We're not the same.
We get a different name,
Born to a new family
In another country.
We won't have the same face,
Nor the same race.

And yet...

We'll carry endlessly the same soul,
The same heart and core.
As for the skills developed previously,
We'll be gifted by them naturally.
It takes many lifetimes of arduous hard work
To be born later as a genius.

Shakespeare, Van Gogh, or Mozart
Spent many lifetimes harnessing their arts,
Before gifting humanity with their unique skills,
Fulfilling their mission with goodwill.

Through lifetimes, many things change in us,
But our heart will still be tied to our real soulmate,
Through an invisible and indelible thread.
And the everlasting love and longing
Our soul feels for his or her twin flame
Will never cease to grow.
