Rejected Poem by Pierce Reichard

Rejected

Disappointment, my new friend.
I'll learn to cope in the end.

Alternatives beckoning,
My heart reckoning.

I'll leave my fort defenseless
In hope I'm not left loveless.

A bleeding wound
Called
My hopes.
