Rejected Gent Poem by Emmanuel Chikwendu

Rejected Gent

Oh my hurtful minds
Speaks his mind for being the gentle gent
I Laughed it out
(Rejection)
Kit in my fears for
(Rejection)
I Fear it to fair it
Then I Fair it to fall
So I Fall it to flourish
I Flourish it to flush it
I Flush it to nourish me
I Nourish me to rush it out
I Rush it out to dash it to another,
Then I Dash it to pass it
I Pass it to pain it
I Pain it to paint it
I Paint it to takeover
I Took over it to move on
I Move over it to leave it
I left it so i can live

POET'S NOTES ABOUT THE POEM
This poem highlights the cyclical nature of rejection and how it can affect not only the individual but also others around them. The poem's themes of emotional processing, growth, and the passing on of experiences are even more evident now. Here's a breakdown of the explanation aligns with my poem: 1. *Laugh it out*: Coping with rejection through laughter.2. *Fear to fair*: Embracing fear and evaluating the rejection to determine its fairness.3. *Fall to flourish*: Recognizing the fall (rejection) and working to flourish despite it.4. *Flush to nourish*: Letting go of the rejection (flushing) to nourish oneself.5. *Rush to dash*: Moving forward (rushing) and passing on the rejection (dashing) to someone else.6. *Pass to pain*: The rejection causing pain in another person's life.7. *Paint it*: The person experiencing pain reinterprets (paints) the rejection in their own way.8. *Take it*: Accepting the reinterpreted rejection.9. *Move on*: Moving forward with the experience.10. *Leave it*: Passing on the rejection to someone else, who will then live with it. This is a powerful exploration of the human experience, the explanation provides valuable insight into the emotions and themes which I have woven together.
