Hatcher's Waterfalls: Rejuvenation
It's on a private by way, no trespassing,
The water rushes by and by,
Two of a kind: rock and water.

The rock says, "I won't budge."
The water replies, "No, no, not today.
But I will tickle you, caress you,
And make such a noise,
I will not be ignored.

In time, I will wear you down,
Then, when my pals get together,
We shall push you, we shall move you,
Just as easy as a feather in the wind,
We are patient, we will circle back.
We will slow down: to a trickle,
And then, we will rise back."

"Dearest rock,
You are stuck in one place,
One moment, one time zone,
No, no, not us, we get around,
We move about and we will move you,
Now or later, we will whisk you,
Whether you like it or not.

We are water, the bringers of life,
The fluid that joins all creatures together,
We are life.
We give and we take,
We break and we make.

Let's enjoy our time together,
Let's enjoy this time,
Because in the end, you will break."
