Relations Poem by Habib Noori

Relations

See there’s this girl I seen with a body so fine
So I decided to see if I can
Make that body be mine
Started the conversation with a joke about her behind
She laughed and with a smile she said
It’s best to be kind
So I took her very lightly
Sense she didn’t show much care
For the disrespectful approach
Now my intentions turned to dare
So I smiled back, replying with a complement
About her hair
Brushed my hand threw it
And that’s when the game turned unfair

Shorty was resting at a park
Contemplating about her broken heart
She left it in a man’s care, safe
Till homie ripped it part
Before her tear goes down her cheek
Before it took a start
She was interrupted by this fella with a joke
I don’t consider too smart
But she took it with a smile
Gave her confidence a boost
She don’t even understand
She got sexually abused
She got blind by her interests
Homie knows she’s now amused
All the signs are cumin clear
But shorty just refused
To let this feeling of being wanted and adored
Go unused
She’s lost in the moment
And soon to b confused
Not known what she got herself into
And gave her heart to this dude
