Relearn 05 Poem by Kira Bloom

Relearn 05

Lured from my lonley prison by the sound of your name
Slipping from reality to make you my claim
You are like a memory I cannot name
Yet I know the the warmth of your embrace
I close my eyes to see only your face
Can you be the presence I leave at dawn's wake
the angel I prayed would save my hope and and dwindled faith
Can you be the dream, the wish a child once made
As I have loved before but before you never felt loved
I thought all passion ripped out of me
But in you I relearn to trust, relearn to breathe
