Religion Is For Dumb Downed Fools Poem by John Fenton Mcleish

Religion Is For Dumb Downed Fools

Theres only one thing left he wants to do
Travel into space and see the cosmos
Explore new planets and galaxies too
A great hero just like Prometheus

He hates the government, authorities
For making him live out this mundane life
He knows they do have the technologies
But hide it to prevent social strife

Frustration builds and he wants to shout
'I don't belong in this stupid rat race
Power and control is what its about
I didn't ask to be born in this place'

From the day you are born you start to die
Can't fight it no matter how hard you try
