Remember - Then Rejoice Poem by Betty Caldwell

Remember - Then Rejoice

Remember - Then Rejoice!

Our Heavenly Father called my name,
On Earth, I could not stay,
But peace and joy awaited me,
Above those clouds of gray.

My love for those I left behind,
Will last until "forever, "
For memories deep within my heart,
Wil keep, and leave me "never."

For death can never take away,
The memories that we made,
For Jesus conquered death and sin,
When He rose from the grave.

So weep for just a little while,
You'll soon see skies of blue,
I'm now where roses never fade,
And here, I'll wait for you.

The beauty of His mansions,
Is such a sight to see,
For they were built by God's own Hand,
For all eternity.

My heavenly home is made of gold,
My crowns lie at His Feet,
No tears or pain can enter in,
And Earth cannot compete.

There is no need for sun or moon,
For Jesus is the Light,
Shekinah glory's all around,
Oh, what an awesome sight!

I could not come back, ever,
If He gave me a choice,
So, ‘til I see you once again,
Remember - then "Rejoice! "

Psalm 127:"EXCEPT the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it, except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows:for so he giveth his beloved sleep.Lo, children are an heritage of the Lord:and the fruit of the womb is his reward. As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth. Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them:they shall not be ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate."
