Rememberance Poem by Alex McCullough

Rememberance

Working hard,
You taught me it was all about the sweat.
You got me thinking,
How can you deal with all that stress?
But as I lay in bed,
Dreaming of you,
I remember all the obstacles,
Life has put us through.
You've held my hand,
Through the difficult times,
And you've let it go when you knew,
Things were gonna be alright.
The times since then,
Have greatly changed,
But the love I held for you,
Has always remained the same.
No, love doesn't come close,
To expressing how I feel about you.
Like a deep, endless hole,
My love only continues to grow.
Like a rose under the moon,
My feelings shine for you.
As the memories we've made together,
Remind of one thing: I love you.
