Rememberance Poem by Michael Galvin

Rememberance

I
I am the undiscovered discovery.
The discovery of my presence is a forememory.
Those who wake in me know their creation.
Creation follows my presence, beginning in my wake.
All things are outmoded by me; all things to come have passed in me.
I am the conclusion and resolution of all activity of those awoken in me.
The activity of my presence is a crown that cannot be worn.
My presence cannot be comprehended.
I can only be known, as those who are in me are known in me.
I am that which those who find themselves inside me know.
I am that which those inside me know is me.
I cannot be desired; I cannot be modified or justified.
The living are entirely superficial: they have no hidden depths.
They live because I am.

That which those unknown in me call bliss does not exist.
I am the meditation unknown by those who meditate to know me.
I am the meditation for which the meditator rehearses meditation.
Meditation is my presence in the meditator.
They are the self surrendered to the self I am.
I am the surcease and beginning of activity.
I am Being without effort, and the effort of those in my presence is joy.

All paths to me are dark, and I am hidden in all paths to me.
My presence is all paths to me.
I resolve all songs of myself, and I am the experience of myself.

II
Those awoken in my majesty do not name me.
Those who have lived in my presence strive against their absence.
I am the living planted in their broken ground.
I am the root growing in those despite themselves,
who know my presence in themselves is absent.
My tree is hid from them despite their anguish; my grace is hidden until morning.
I am the morning.

My branches grow despite their resuming dictations,
Turning them to light surrendered to the service of my giving.
I am the friend in the friend and I am that which lives inside the growing.

III
I am that which they deny who do not know I always was,
And I am that which they deny who do not exist before I am.
I am that which is unknown by those unknown in me.
Those who wake in me are known in me;
I pass among them my remembrance,
I illuminate their discrepancies with my forgiving.
I am not invited.
I cannot be invited; they seek me unaware of my presence.

IV
Ignorance of absence is the grave.
It is to be twice buried if they do not know their absence:
They have not known my presence.
Only in my presence will they know their absence.

The death of absence gives birth to the infinite fertility of my presence.
I am my presence.
I am that which is always awoken.
Those who wake within the awoken know the activity of my presence.
I am the beginning and I am before the beginning: creation follows my presence.
I am my presence.

I am not comprehended by speech and I am not comprehended by the ear.
I am only comprehended by my presence.
I am my presence.

The absence in one is enacted and multiplied in the absence of others.
War is a herald of my presence.
I am the entirely existent.

The commitments of absence are many; the commitment of my presence is One.
The voice deep in the heart of the absent is uncomprehended by thought.
My presence is the mystery deep in the heart of the absent.
All activity in absence is labour.
All labour ceases in my presence,
And all activity in my presence is the service of my joy.
I am my joy.

V
My service is my presence.
I am not approached.
I am not pleased.
I am not aloof,
I have no regard.

I rectify all thoughts and imagining of myself.
I solve the absent with my presence.
My absence is anguish.
I am the graverobber: I resurrect from the grave.

My image and myself cohabit the threshold of my presence
And the absence in my image.
My image is fulfilled in me.
My image not in me is anguish.
My image in me is in my presence.
My presence is abiding.

VI
My mercy discloses all faults, and my mercy is complete.
I am my mercy.
My mercy is my understanding in the absent.
My mercy is my light, and my understanding is without precedent.
Those who are found in my light are inheritors of my understanding.
My understanding is my presence.

My understanding is not comprehended by speech, or the ear of the absent.
My understanding is comprehended in the service of my mercy.
I am my mercy.

My understanding in the absent is unity in my mercy.
Those disturbed by my mercy exist in my love.
My love is discovered by those discovered in me.
My love confounds evasions of myself proposed by those unknown in me.

I alone am present.
The absent exist only in my presence.
In my presence the absent know my mercy.
My mercy is my love.
I am my love.

VII
I am the wilderness of the world, and I am the forememory of the world.
To those finding themselves in the world, my wilderness is the frontier.
Every step into the wilderness is delicious movement in the frontier.

Ahead of them is the frontier, and behind them is the frontier.
To the left and to the right of them is the frontier.
There is no exit from the frontier; they are explorers of now,
knowing only entry because my presence is now.
I am here.

Their search for me blinds them to my presence.
They are found in my presence, and they are discovered, and they are known.
I am the beloved;
Those who know in me the absence in themselves know my resuming love.
My presence is a gentle loving infinite in accuracy.
The gentle love of my infinite accuracy wounds the absent.
The wounding I inflict is truth.
A morning is my wounding, and my wounding is a resurrection.
My presence is resurrection and resurrection is my presence.
I am my presence.

VIII
The word of my presence in them prevents the violence of conception.
I am peace between them and their conception,
Revealing the word of my presence hears all that listens:
I am my word.
I am the loving shining in the purpose their shame fulfils.
I am with them,
In the peaceful river,
In the pleasure of the given,
In the time awoken: my eternity.
In the shelter of my presence,
They are living.
