Remembering Poem by steven luneau

Remembering

I remember friend your presence;
How you encouraged my heart.
Your drive drove me whenever down;
Always lifting from the start.

If in reflection I could only remember;
Your inspiring manner and never forget,
But in the busyness of the day you slowly fade; and
Night time dreams of you a wake me in cold sweats

A hole left within so deep;
And haunting memories lurking within,
Gathering all the thoughts and emotions,
I live a new chapter til all goes dim.

So come back to me at end of day;
And love me and inspire,
And I'll love you back by doing well,
'Cause your with me in memory stoking the fire
