Remembering Foss Poem by Marilyn Lott

Remembering Foss

Foss is a very small town
Where everyone was known
Nothing was kept private
It had a ‘personal’ tone

So memories are very special
And folks love to tell the tales
“Remember when” so important
As they meet to ‘set a spell’

Resident’s names carved
Right in the quarry stone
That also made the church
A place where folks atone

A beautiful temple building
Much thought went in
To the religious beliefs
To drown out all the sins

So Foss is a special place
Folks will never forget
Photos and memories
Forever will be set!
