Remembering The Ones Who Serve Our Country - Poem by Andrew Vassell

Just remember each vet
today, they fought for us
to make a way.
Through the years and
many fights just remember
how many lost their life's.
Men and women so very
brave rest in peace in early
graves.
To all the ones that's still
alive, thanks a lot for all
your pride.

Through each wars, past,
present, to come, just
remember the ones we won.
For all the homes that stood
alone because a love one
did not make it home.
Just remember what they
did for us so in God we'll
put our trust.

So my friends that has past
and the ones still here, glad
to know you served us there
and the dreams will never die,
glad to have you by my side.
For in you I had no doubt,
that you'd go and make us
proud.
