Remembering The Past With You Poem by Ray Hansell

Remembering The Past With You

Rating: 5.0

Remembering the best of times
These memories of yours and mine
We had the world in our hands
But we just didn't understand
Now as we're growing old
All of our stories can now be told
Way back in the day
We truly lived life our way
We followed our own rules
We were never anyone's fools
We lived hard and fast
Not knowing how long we would last
But here we sit living today
So far removed from our yesterday's
Life was fun the times were great
But now our years are getting late
As the sun begins to set
My life isn't done just yet
A few more years to live through
Still loving each day that's new
Our journey was one of a kind
It was my greatest of all time
