Remembrance Poem by Sandeep Scientist

Remembrance

Rating: 5.0

I still remember those days,
You loved me in different ways.
Together we crossed oceans and hills
And danced as tossing of daffodils,
In soft murmured voice you told me;
“I love you and you love me
Your sweet tone used to give me life afresh
How much I love Thee, my words can’t express”.

Oh My Love! Why have you gone?
Leaving me all alone,
Your tender touch and words sublime
I’ll always remember that sweet time,
The frozen breeze and melodious Sunset,
If I want, I cannot forget;
When you tenderly kissed me
And I closed my eyes in ecstasy!

In the weary, dark and dreadful night,
My heart aches and eyes for thy sight.
Inspirations from other sources do come,
But that comes from Love is awesome!
Without you, what is name and fame?
A heap of dust or a boon insane.
Here and there, everywhere, in the fair as a vagrant I roam,
Once again, O my Love, make thy heart my only home.
