Be simple and be sweet
And the world is yours to own
Be always my golden dream
Your face that brightens my very own

Zephyr wind that swept the golden sea
Adhere my heart to thy tender caress
Be always with me that I may see
A love so sweet and dear to me

Love why haste thou forsaken me
Leaving my heart a sweet memory
Enchanting days of dream and bliss
Rest my heart to a sweet dream of peace
Oh! heart give me peace that I may rest

For my love shall remain forever until death.
