Whenever i think of you i look back
To when we were happy together
There's been so much going on
Too much to comprehend at once

I know i wasn't always good to u
I've let you down so many times
I hope you know i regret
To the point that it breaks me

I wonder what you think of me
Do you like the person i've become
When i see how far you've come
I can't help but notice you've grown

You've come so far from where you began
Blossomed into a beautiful young woman
I'm so proud of you my words fall short
You mean the world to me

Gives me a sense of comfort
Knowing it wasn't all bad
You were my everything
The best that i ever had

I hope you never forget
Where you came from
Or what you've become
Just know that you are my sun
