Repeated Insipid Meter Explained Poem by Hubert Wilson

Repeated Insipid Meter Explained

Does this make me a rhyme avatar?
Incessantly seeking words bizarre.
Cannot control just how far
Taking words to mar?
Incongrous enough to scar,
Or a Noah Webster superstar?
Not yet on par.
Absent the Charles Osgood skills to verbal spar!
Reaching only literary depths of a gar?
Yearning by some to exile me to far off Zanzibar?
