Repentance Poem by Anjali Radha

Repentance

Sunny showers falling on me,
Infinite wheeler of Time chasing me,
I wander, a free bird with a caged soul,
My feet running ahead of my brains.

Countless are the minutes I wasted,
Not with a second of my knowledge though,
Charged with a heart-blow, all I've mastered,
Into my conscience, my head, I bow!

Ashamed I feel, all the more,
But I'm filled, to the core,
All deeds gone past of me,
I repent.

Put at stake, my experience all,
Burning myself, now I call,
Find me useful, make me a tool;
One chance a life I plead,
To let my goodness govern me.

Nothing less, nothing more,
Open unto You is everything,
And me.
