Requim Of A Love Poem by Raymond Valadez

Requim Of A Love

tonight i burry all our love we ever had. i will let my life cast a shadow on your memory although i know your beauty will pursue me for all eternity. what a tragedy to see our life together vanish like a waking dream. i see clear that with out you near i will climb the pinnacle of my careere. my days will consist of victories. and one day you will be no more then a story. the glory of our love will loose its luster. time will move success in my direction much faster and the speed will only make my sorrow turn into much laughter. your will die a slow death in my soul. your hold on the my heart will cease to maintain it in that state of winter cold. yes even the most violent storms seem to pass. and their is not a pain that will always last. let these words be a requim of our love. tonight i end my suffering because the lords knows i have suffered enough. let me pour the dirt one shovel at a time. so i could erase every second of our life. let the plack state here lies a love that could off been. but never destined to the end.
