Resonance Poem by Ker Kertales

Resonance

My emotions, vast and untamed
a restless cry in silence framed.

And my mouth, a threshold steep,
where words spill out, a spell to keep,
unraveling wounds, truths left unspoken,
the silence of promises broken.

If this is life, its rhythm, relentless
why plead for it to stay, so senseless?
I lack the strength to bear its weight,
and no resolve to face its fate.

There's no refuge, no place to flee,
from what I am, from what I see,
nor silence deep enough to hide,
the echo of my soul inside.
