Respect Poem by Pavan Ghargi

I considered my oponent to be a piece of cake,
Never realised it would be such a huge mistake
I had no chance for any retake, it was too late
And i was burning on the stake
For then i realised, i had committed a blunder
Life had shown me one of its wonder
People can kick you when you least expect,
Its good to show each one some respect
Never consider your oponent weak,
this is when the ship begins to leak,
Expecting to touch the sky, we drown deep in,
Can do nothing but curse each time we breath in
