Rest In Peace
I told you I loved you
I told you I craved you
I told you that you make me happy
I told you so much
In the end
you still said no
still turned away from me
refused to give in
It killed me
my world crashed around me
crumbled at my feet
turned to dust
I will never
regret what I said
for it was the truth
and I died with an open heart
I died
broken
rejected
with a smile on my face
